Wild Turkeys

I'm very excited to share my new turkey pictures. I have been seeing several turkeys, hens and jakes, over the past several weeks, but unfortunatly, they didn't stick around very long. I guess they have excepted the blind, however, and on March 22, 2009, they came out and grazed around for about an hour and a half. I was so happy to watch three jakes as they tried to impress a hen.

I have recently upgraded to a D90 and had enough time to get a little video, too. Hopefully I can get some posted soon.

Things have been a little slow lately with the weather, but I have tons of new photos to post and stories to tell.

Just a reminder, please join me 2 p.m. Sunday at the West Plains Civic Center for the opening of my photography show. There will be a reception with refreshments and I will have about 70 photos on display.
